What is Care at Home?

If you are a primary care giver looking for a little help and support you might be considering using home care. Care At Home is a system that helps people to remain in their own homes and retain their independence as long as possible.

It’s only natural that people want to stay in their own homes but sometimes age, illness or injury can make that difficult. That’s where Care At Home comes in.

Our Care At Home service can include anything from assistance with daily living tasks through to live-in care on a 24hr basis. It can be short term, helping out while you recover from an accident or illness, or it can be long term, caring for the elderly or someone with a disability.

Daily living tasks are activities like showering, dressing or eating. We can help with all of those personal tasks. We can also help with things like transportation, cooking meals, paying bills and accompanying our clients to medical or even social appointments.

Sometimes the best use of Care At Home service is to support the primary carer by managing some of the day-to-day things that are hard to keep on top of. Help with domestic chores as well as home and garden maintenance can ease the workload for the carer and make the home safer and more comfortable for all of you.

We offer:
•    Personal care
•    Live-in Care
•    Respite Care
•    Home help
•    Home and garden maintenance

We believe that your lifestyle shouldn’t have to change just because you need some extra help. That’s why we design a service plan for your specific needs. We do whatever you need us to do so that you can stay happily in your own home.

From Lisa

“Our son, who is intellectually disabled, loves aeroplanes and anything to do with flying. He found a model plane club who was keen to have him join, but I don’t drive and he can’t travel by himself and am working when the club meets, so we really didn’t think he could go. Then Donna, our case manager, suggested Care Beyond Measure might be able to help. She rang Sam and he found another aeroplane nut who takes Ben off to the club every week, stays with him and helps him and brings him home. I can’t tell you what a difference this has made to our week and to Ben’s life!”
